Boris Johnson has thanked the NHS for 10 million COVID-19 jabs at No. 10, and paid tribute to Capt Sir Tom Moore and his fundraising achievements for the National Health Service.
He listed the teams of medics, volunteers and military personnel who had worked to pass the milestone, in clinics and care homes.
The Oxford / AstraZenica vaccine also now seems likely to reduce the spread of coronavirus to others, Mr Johnson said.
